To support its development, Box Africa is recruiting a senior Kotlin developer passionate about creating high quality mobile applications on a permanent contract with at least 5 years of experience. You will join a passionate software development team in a Scrum/Agile framework.
Missions of the Senior Kotlin Developer
The developer will be asked to:
- Design, develop, test and deploy mobile applications on the Android platform using Kotlin.
- Work closely with design and product teams to define and implement innovative features.
- Provide technical solutions respecting the principles of Clean Architecture and SOLID principles.
- Ensure that the code is clean, testable and compliant with company standards.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure code quality in the team.
- Mentoring and support to junior developers, sharing knowledge and best practices.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in mobile development.
Profile
We are looking for a profile with:
- Experience in developing on other mobile platforms (e.g., iOS, Flutter, React Native).
- Familiarity with Kotlin Multiplatform and its applications for cross-platform development..
- Familiarity with mobile databases, synchronization and cloud technologies.
- Understanding of mobile security issues and best practices for securing data and applications.
- Proven experience in implementing Clean Architecture and a deep understanding of SOLID principles.
- Proven experience in building and deploying mobile applications at scale.
- Thorough knowledge of Android SDKs, related tools and frameworks.

Other information
- Minimum Master’s degree in computer science or related field with at least 5 years of experience in mobile development,including a majority with Kotlin.
